About the event
Meditation is a grounding practice which helps you to know yourself better, decrease stress and anxieties, enhance happiness and wellbeing and encourage a more relaxed and sound sleep.
Science has proven that regular meditation can have powerful long-lasting effects. Meditation helps to activate our rest-and-digest system and begin the process of ushering our body back to a more natural and calm state.
Through mediation you begin to notice your body and mind more easily let go of daily stressors and challenges. You feel calmer. You can focus more clearly. You can be more creative. You feel more balanced and comfortable in your skin.
This is a great opportunity for you to develop the beginning of a consistent meditation practice, support your current practice or just check out what all the fuss is about!
What to expect:
After a quick chat you will find yourself a comfortable position. Meditation can be done in a seated or laying position and both options will be provided on the day (depending on numbers and space available).
You will then be guided through a 30min meditation. Afterwards there will be time for sharing (if you choose to) and tea and coffee. You might also like to browse our retail selection and treat yourself :)
